Become a WCHS Sponsor

Dear Friends,

Wayne County Historical Society (WCHS) is asking for your generosity by becoming a 2025 Sponsor. As a Sponsor, your donation helps to fund free events such as the upcoming 12th Annual Canal Festival (August 16). Your generous contribution also helps to fund the general operating expenses of the Main Museum of WCHS (810 Main Street, Honesdale), the D&H Canal Park at Lock 31, the Farm Museums at the Wayne County Fairgrounds and programs at Bethel School and the Old Stone Jail.

We welcome your attendance at our upcoming free Open House (May 3 starting at 11am) and ticketed WCHS Annual Dinner (Sunday, November 2). At this year’s dinner we will be honoring Mrs. Carol Ann MacMaster with the Richard L. Kreitner Award for Community Service. Her dedication and contributions to Wayne County are numerous and include nearly 20 years in helping to preserve the history of Northern Wayne County through her volunteer positions with the Equinunk Historical Society.

WCHS is a 501(c)(3) organization, so your donations to the Society qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions. For FAQs and to donate online, please visit us at WayneHistoryPa.org. Sponsorship levels are detailed on the back. The aim of bundling the sponsorship opportunities together is to annualize requests for donations and also provide flexibility for your interests and budget.

Thank you, again, for your consideration of a donation. For additional information on programs, events, or open houses, please visit our Main Museum Building, our website, or find us on social media.

Sincerely,

Britta Bakos and Jason Smith
