On August 8, 1829, the Stourbridge Lion made history right here in Honesdale, forever changing transportation in the United States. Nearly two centuries later, we're inviting you to celebrate this remarkable milestone with a day filled with history, conversation, and community.

Beth Anne Keates, local author of numerous railroad history books, will share stories of the Stourbridge Lion and sign her books.
Joe Senese, D&H Railroad enthusiast and collector, will display selections from his impressive collection while sharing fascinating stories and answering questions.
Enjoy train talks throughout the day, browse the museum's exhibits, including our full-size replica of the Stourbridge Lion, and relax with light refreshments.
